"Patina is a natural creation, sometimes formed on beautiful metals. It can be the blue-green verdigris pigment or patina that forms naturally on copper, brass, and bronze surfaces due to oxidation. It can be the color of the rust forming on iron, the tarnish on silver, or the sanded surface of driftwood. The formation of a patina of nature is a slow and tranquil process, never rushed.
