This fun quilt is 52.5" x 62.5" and features adorable highland coos in a mini format. It also includes optional Scottish tams (hats) to accessorize your coos. The quilt includes two types of coo blocks: the front-facing coos looking in two directions (10.5" x 15" finished) and the side coo (15" x 15" finished). You can make each coo with or without the Scottish tam. Additionally, the pattern includes two different thistle blocks to create the borders. The coo blocks are versatile and can be used in other projects, such as tote bags, runners, jackets, and more! We designed this quilt using traditional piecing techniques, so no paper piecing is involved. The quilt requires precision piecing, with small pieces, straight-line sewing, and some points to match.
